Minnesota 2022 June 9 - 12, 2022 The Minnesota 2022 will be a 2-day scavenger-hunt style rally held June 9th thru the 12th. We will look back on the most loved and most loathed TeamStrange bonuses over the years. This won't be just a rehash of old bonuses, but will include some new twists and turns to some legendary bonuses, in addition to new and fresh locations. There will be burritos as big as your head, fainting goats, Lady of the Night grave site, spider swamps, nudists. There could be bowling, Dr. Pepper, Hot Coffee, and without a doubt there will be Laura Ingalls Wilder. Oh, and I may even have found Love in Texas. Once again, Motoprimo in Lakeville, MN, will be rally headquarters for the start and finish of the rally. Check-in will start at 6:00 PM at Motoprimo on Thursday, June 9, for the Liars Banquet. At check-in you'll sign a waiver, and receive your rally swag. Dinner (BBQ of course!) will be served starting at 6:30 PM. Then at 7:30 PM we’ll have a rider's meeting to go over some of the basic rules and hand out rally packets. Your rally packet will include printed route sheets, your rally flag, and a flash drive containing GPS coordinates in .gdb, .gpx and .txt formats. You are advised to read and be familiar with the TeamStrange Uniform Rules, and note that one of the rules we will be paying attention to is in Section I, Rule 5. Helmets are required. (Yup, even while riding in the parking lot) Note that some of the more stringent rules apply only to Butt Lite. Digital cameras will be needed for this rally and, yes, we will keep your memory card after scoring. There will be two classes this year: Rookie - for those who have never completed a 24 hour rally before. Experienced - riders who have completed a 24+ hour rally. Rally staff will be available at Motoprimo starting at 6:30 AM on Friday, June 10, for check-in, recording odometers, and answering any additional questions. We'll have a continental breakfast for you and a few snacks for the road. You will be free to leave at 8:00 AM on Friday, June 10. All riders must return by 7:59:59 AM on Sunday, June 12. NO grace period, period. If you're back at 8:00:00 AM that’s a DNF. Tough luck Chuck. There will be breakfast on Sunday. We hope to have scoring completed by 10:00 and award trophies by 10:30 AM. The MN2022 will not be Canada-free... there will be bonuses that will require your passport and additional Covid documentation to reach. Getting them will not guarantee a winning route, but could very well make you a TeamStrange legend. As a matter of fact there will be several opportunities for you to become a TeamStrange legend either from an epic ride or epic fail. Your entry fee covers two meals, snacks for the road, awesome rally swag, and some great riding. This will be about two weeks prior to the LDX rally, so it will make for a great shakedown.
