  • Registration will open at 12:00 AM CDT Saturday, September 9th, 2017, via RideMaster.

  • Cost is $895 Solo, $1095  Two-up

    • A minimum deposit of $450 or $550 is due at the time of registration (although full payment is welcome).

    • The balance will be due no later than January 31st, 2018. If the balance is not paid by 11:59 PM CDT on January 31st, 2018, you will be dropped from the roster and will not receive a refund of your deposit.

    • If you must drop out prior to January 31st, you will only receive a refund if your spot is filled from the waiting list.

    • After January 31st, there will be no refunds regardless of whether you are replaced by another rider.

  • Registration will close at 100 riders.

    • If you want to be placed on the waiting list, you must send an email to Lisa Erbes at lerbes@gmail.com. The requests will be handled in the order in which they are received. No other method of contact will be accepted. No phone calls, text messages, Facebook messenger, or emails to David or Bart.

    • The waiting list will be maintained until March 31st, 2018. After that date, there will be no riders added to the roster.

  • As in previous Butt Lites, the top 10 finishers in Butt Lite IX will receive a non-draw spot in the 2019 Iron Butt Rally. TeamStrange will pay the entry fee into the 2019 IBR for the first place winner of Butt Lite IX.

  • The start and finish will be in Kentucky. Exact location will be shared after registration.

  • Please review the Butt Lite IX supplemental rules.

After successful registration, you will receive an email confirming you are in and information about the host hotel and rally schedule. It is advised that you make reservations at the host hotel as soon as possible to ensure you have a room there. We will also provide information about other area hotels, but will not be providing any group rates other than the host hotel.
